Wash the mint leaves and coriander leaves thoroughly.
In a blender or food processor, combine the mint leaves, coriander leaves, chopped onion, green chillies, lemon juice, salt, sugar and cumin seeds.
Blend everything together until it forms a smooth paste.
If the mixture is too thick, add a little water as needed to get the desired consistency.
Once done, transfer the chutney to a bowl and serve with dosa or other Indian snacks.
