  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil or ghee for cooking


  • In a mixing bowl, add the whole wheat flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, green chilies, ginger, and salt. Mix well.
  • Gradually add water and mix to form a smooth batter. The batter should be of pouring consistency, similar to that of a regular dosa batter.
  • Heat a griddle or tawa on medium heat. Once hot, pour a ladleful of batter and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • Drizzle a little oil or ghee around the edges and on the dosa.
  • Cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot with chutney or sambar. Enjoy!
