Paneer Masala Dosa


  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 1/2 cup crumbled paneer
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking dosa and filling
  • Coconut chutney and sambar for serving.


  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  • Once the cumin seeds start to splutter, add onion and saut√© until translucent.
  • Add ginger paste, green chilli, and tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, and crumbled paneer. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa and pour a ladle full of dosa batter in the center. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
  • Drizzle a few drops of oil on the sides and let it cook until it turns golden brown.
  • Add the paneer masala filling in the center of the dosa and fold it over.
  • Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
