Spring Dosa

Spring dosa

  • 1 cup of rice flour
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • 1 cup of cooked noodles
  • 1 cup of mixed vegetables carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, onions, etc., finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of vinegar
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • Oil for cooking


  • In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and water to make a thin batter. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add garlic. Stir-fry for a few seconds.
  • Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and salt to taste. Mix well.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle over medium heat.
  • Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • Drizzle oil around the edges of the dosa and cook until the underside turns golden brown and crispy.
  • Add a spoonful of the vegetable and noodle filling on one side of the dosa.
  • Roll up the dosa tightly like a spring roll.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any dipping sauce of your choice.
