Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped mixed vegetables carrots, beans, peas, corn, etc.
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep-frying

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, add the mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, onions, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small patties.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix the cornflour with a little water to make a smooth batter.
  • Dip each cutlet into the cornflour batter and then roll it in the bread crumbs until coated evenly.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the cutlets into the oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  • Drain excess oil on a paper towel.
  • Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
